Rapid Expansion at Oslo Airport: Exciting New Opportunities Ahead

Widerøe Ground Handling AS (WGH) has become one of only two ground service providers at Oslo Airport (OSL), supporting a wide range of airlines.

Widerøe Ground Handling AS (WGH) has become one of only two ground service providers at Oslo Airport (OSL), supporting a wide range of airlines. In the final months of 2024, we have already welcomed — and will continue to welcome — several new airline partners to our portfolio at OSL. We are proud to serve Atlantic Airways, Air Serbia, Freebird, Thai Airways, Jet Time, and Icelandair, all of whom are now part of our growing list of valued partners.

At WGH, we have quickly rolled up our sleeves and adapted to meet the needs of our rapidly expanding group of airline partners, often with very short notice. We are committed to delivering the best service possible, ensuring that our partners receive exceptional support, even under tight deadlines. We are incredibly proud of our dedicated team at OSL, whose drive and commitment ensure we consistently deliver excellence, no matter the challenge.

This rapid expansion is further fueled by SAS Ground Handling (SGH), which now exclusively provides ground handling services for SAS and potentially a few of its partner airlines at Oslo Airport Gardermoen. As a result, WGH has stepped up to meet the growing demand, reinforcing our strategic position as one of the leading ground handlers at OSL.

This strong position not only allows WGH to continue offering services across a diverse range of carriers but also strengthens our role as the preferred ground handler in Norway. With a strong finish to 2024, we anticipate even further growth in 2025 as we continue to attract new airline partners and expand our services.

By upholding operational excellence and flexibility, we remain committed to delivering exceptional service to all our airline partners.
