Widerøe Ground Handling has been granted ISO certification for ISO 9001: 2015 – Quality Management, and ISO 27001: 2022 – Information Security
Widerøe Ground Handling ISO-Certified
Over the past two years, WGH has worked intensively towards becoming ISO certified, a significant milestone that underscores our dedication to excellence. ISO standards are internationally recognized and serve as a strong testament to our commitment to both our customers and employees, ensuring that we meet the highest standards in every aspect of our operations.
We are therefore thrilled to announce that Widerøe Ground Handling has been granted ISO certification for:
ISO 9001: 2015 – Quality Management certification demonstrates that WGH is committed to delivering the highest quality in our services, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. This standard ensures that our processes are well-documented, consistently followed, and capable of producing high-quality results.
ISO 27001: 2022 – Information Security certification highlights our dedication to establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving a comprehensive information security management system. Both certificates are available in Norwegian and English. There is an official certificate that is general for the standard, as well as a certificate that includes all of WGH's locations. We can now present these certificates to our customers as documentation of compliance with the applicable standards.
"WGH places a strong emphasis on safety and a culture of reporting deviations. This was crucial for WGH's flawless certification process—completely without deviations. All WGH locations have shown great willingness to perform and continuously improve. This will benefit both WGH and our customers. The implementation of ISO standards is a team effort, and we have all contributed," says Quality & Compliance Manager at WGH, Ken Andersen.
Achieving these certifications not only aligns WGH with global best practices but also provides a framework that supports ongoing improvements and operational excellence. We thank all our employees for their hard work and dedication in reaching this important goal. This accomplishment reflects our collective effort to uphold the highest standards of quality and security in our industry. "We now have a robust system that will help us improve further in all areas of WGH's operations. Now begins the big task of proving that we always follow through on what we have committed to," he concludes with a smile.
